Nicos Avraamides is a partner at L. Papaphilippou & Co, LLC. He has studied law in the University of Hull (1991-1994) and was admitted to the Bar (Middle Temple Inn) in 1995. He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 1996. Nicos has been a litigator since 1996 with extensive experience in a broad spectrum of demanding civil cases involving contractual, corporate, tortious, property and insurance related claims with specialization in complex medical negligence and other professional liability claims. As part of the litigation work Nicos has represented clients in arbitration proceedings and court proceedings regarding registration and enforcement of arbitration awards in Cyprus.
Despite his focus on litigation, Nicos has consistently dealt with non-contentious work involving real estate transactions, corporate structures and has recently been involved in energy projects including solar parks and the Cyprus LNG project led by one of the leading companies in the energy sector worldwide.
