Associate

Salome graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2010 acquiring a degree in Law (distinction - valedictorian) and from the University of Bristol in 2011 obtaining an LLM in European Legal Studies. In 2019 she acquired a PhD in Law from the University of Nicosia (distinction - unconditional acceptance) for her thesis titled ‘The right to property and the economic crisis in Cyprus’. Salome has participated in various seminars and has published a series of articles and book chapters discussing primarily European law, human rights law, constitutional law and administrative law related issues. She is also an associate of the Journal of Administrative Law issued by Sakkoulas Publications in Greece.

Salome became a member of the Cyprus Bar Association in 2012 and has worked since then for well-known law firms, acquiring knowledge especially in the fields of European law, human rights law, constitutional law, administrative law, corporate law, contract law, land law and civil law. Furthermore, she was a visiting lecturer at the University of Nicosia from 2013 to 2019, teaching, inter alia, Cyprus legal system, land law and inheritance law. In 2021 she became a member of the Committee of International and European Law of the Cyprus Bar Association and in 2024 she was appointed as the Committee’s vice-president.

Salome joined L. Papaphilippou & Co LLC in 2024 as Associate and in particular as the firm’s Legal Research Officer.
